Scinnova is Cedar College’s flagship science competition, designed to be more than just an academic challenge. It is an immersive learning experience that brings together 100+ teams of budding scientists from across Karachi and Pakistan.
This year’s Scinnova consists of nine modules, each an intellectual arena representing a distinct field of science. Together, they showcase how a deep, interdisciplinary understanding of our world fosters true critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation.
Arcanum blends science with mystery through forensic science, data encryption, and logic puzzles. Teams tackle cryptographic challenges and crime scene analysis, developing analytical and deductive reasoning skills. Students learn to apply mathematics, logic, and technology to solve real-world puzzles and uncover hidden patterns.
In Illuminatio, students engage in hands-on experiments, delving into the composition and transformation of matter. Teams conduct experiments that reveal chemical reactions, molecular structures, and energy dynamics. This module emphasizes safety protocols, attention to detail, and the scientific method.
Named after the renowned mathematician Ptolemy, this module involves complex problem-solving, mathematical modeling, and logical puzzles. Students apply algebra, geometry, and calculus to solve theoretical and practical challenges, pushing the boundaries of their mathematical understanding in both abstract and real-world contexts.
Planck's Paradox brings theoretical physics to life, guiding students through scenarios where common sense meets scientific complexity. From quantum mechanics to relativistic principles, students grapple with deep concepts that stretch their critical thinking and challenge their understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe.
Named after the Greek god of medicine, Asclepius offers an immersive journey into the life sciences. Through intricate dissections, genetic analysis, and simulations of biological processes, participants experience the profound complexity of living organisms and the delicate balance of systems that sustain life.
Redshift immerses students in the mysteries of space, challenging them to explore concepts of astrophysics and cosmology. Teams use telescopic data, star maps, and astrophysical simulations to investigate celestial phenomena. The module nurtures observational skills and scientific reasoning, encouraging students to draw connections between abstract physics theories and tangible data.
In the Robotics module, students dive into robotics, applying engineering principles, physics, and coding skills to design and program functional robots. Participants collaborate to solve specific tasks, fostering an understanding of mechanics, control systems, and problem-solving through real-time testing and modifications.
This module encourages students to enter the fascinating field of psychology, focusing on human behavior and cognitive functions. Through experimental tasks and role-playing, students study psychological theories and apply them to real-life settings. This fosters empathy and reminds students that scientific inquiry extends to the intricacies of human nature.
QWERTY immerses students in the world of coding, where logic, algorithms, and problem-solving take center stage. Through engaging challenges, participants apply computational thinking to solve problems efficiently, honing skills that form the foundation of every programmer’s toolkit.

Yes, private teams can register.
The packages determine the number of events a delegate is eligible to contest. The 4-Module Package allows participation in up to four specific competition categories, while the 6-Module Package offers broader access, allowing participation in up to six categories.
Teams applying in the Early Bird Round will be given priority in their module selection, increasing their chances of getting their preferred slots before they fill up.
Participants must "submit the payment in the following bank account" (Faysal Bank) and then submit a Proof of Payment Google Form online.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once the payment has been processed and verified.
